Match Report Press Report

Chichester 2 Beat IOW 1.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 61 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Greg Jansz winning through.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 77 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Chris O'Neill.

Player of the tie was the Home No. 3 string, Chris O'Neill, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Joe Pannell, who over-turned a 814 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
