West Hants Lost to Winchester 1.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 30 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Alex Phillips, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 77 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Gary Hinton.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 4 string, Paul Jones, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 4 string, Paul Jones, who over-turned a 218 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
